2024 Jackson County Wellness Extravaganza
In celebration of Mental Health Month, Behavioral Health and Public Health teamed up to highlight the connection between physical and mental health and offered the Jackson County Wellness Extravaganza on May 15, 2024 at the Milt Lunda Memorial Arena. The event was made possible with help from many different partners and volunteers, along with 27 sponsors that contributed towards the cost of the event. There were nearly 500 in attendance, with more than additional 125 staff and volunteers. Participants were able to participate in more that 24 interactive and informative stations on the 8 dimensions of wellness, enjoy music by a DJ, inflatables, and a free meal!

There were 500 in attendance and over 100 staff and volunteers. Participants were able to participate in interactive and informative stations and enjoy music by a DJ, inflatables, and a free meal!
